Camp Eden Health Resort has been in continuous operation since January 1984 as a health and fitness experience in a nature based setting. Both the lodges and the reception centre share similar energy management principles.  These include the use of seasonal vegetation, thermally massive materials and appropriate building sitting. Both building types make use of timber trellis with seasonal vines for sun control.
